The 1977 issue develops the methodology of the systems approach, discussing in detail the relationship between wholeness and systemicity, the status and functions of systems methodology, and its application in the study of science. In parallel, it formulates a "parametric systems theory" and refines the principles of composition/decomposition and the approximation of general systemic patterns. In the applied section, systems approaches are applied to ecology, urban planning, typologies of integral formations, and child psychology.
